Backflow Valve Testing
What is a Backflow valve?
A backflow prevention valve is exactly that, it prevents backflow or back siphoning from occouring in your potable water source. Things like fertilizer, bug poison, and many other contaminants can potentially be back siphoned into YOUR water. That is why we have backflow prevention valves.
Why should you test your Backflow valve?
As explained above backflow preventors are very important to our water. Unfortunately they are mechanical and they do go bad from time to time. Things like trash and debris that can get into your water source can clog up the valve and prevent it form working properly. By testing your valve you can rest assured that your water is safe. We reccomend getting your vavle tested at least once a year.
